Dura Hood 916 Spider

Post by argtv6 » 13 Sep 2014, 14:41

Has anybody managed to connect to this module?
When I scan DTC with KL and purple connector from the the dash OBD connector only the engine ecu is seen.
When I scan DTC at the 3 pin connector in the battery compartment with or without the purple connector the Dura hood ecu is visible but impossible to connect to.
Please help
Ralph

The 939 spider is completely different to the 916.
Thanks anyway.

Any ideas Yani?

Did you tried it with new MES 2.2 version?

Yes, please try with Multiecuscan 2.2... and use the 3-pin connector.

Hi.
I made this post before noticing that version 2.2 is out.
I'll try it out when I'll have another 916 spider at the workshop and revert.
Thanks

Hi.
I connected successfully from the 3pin connector in the battery compartment this morning.
I still have to get accustomed to the functions and parameters of this module as the commands I gave failed.
This particular car has a fault in the 5th bow sensors and some faults shown were without a description like 0F and 0D.
One confusing fault was regarding a deployed airbag.
Thanks
Ralph

I know this is an old post but I give it a try.
I've the same error (0D airbag). Hood not opening. Did you manage to fix it?
Kind regards,
Jan.
