Increasingly disconnections with KKL interface.

Post by Alfaeddy » 31 Aug 2011, 19:26

I notice the connection with the FES and a KKL interface does not last long and constantly breaks.
I noticed it when I wanted to use the graphics more.
When parameters read no problems, but the graphics for about 10 - 30 sec break
Now I was also phoned a friend of the same problem.
In ABS and airbag ECU and no problems but when Sele constantly crashes.

All possible settings, we have tested.
And we both have the registered version of FES
My friend has occurred with the feeling that FES 2.6, the crashes less often

With a ELM I have no problems.

Can it be that FES can only work with KKL interface bad together?

Eddy honor:
no yet rolled this problem for half a year :D

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2225

for some time using the KKL VAG FES disconnects, especially that for example in cars such as FIAT BRAVO, BRAVO to 2001 must have vag KKL + 3 pin adapter, because ELM 327 diagnose engine only read, and not diagnose ABS and airbags.

but as a link in August after the ELM everything is ok, because the ELM has a built-in buffer and processes the signal and not VAG KKL .

I wrote that it breaks and disconnections occur in older laptops, but recently I noticed that too, and colleagues in the newer and better laptop is the same problem - disconnection & BREAK when I start read aktual parameters- for ABS and AIRBAG its little better !

IT'S NOT ALWAYS OCCUR AND NOT IN DIAGNOSIS OF EACH CAR.
example, when I use my vag KKL: disconnect or interrupt in bravo, brava 99-00

works well in punto II FL 2004, fiat panda 2004

Strangely, Yani had a check, but probably has a lot of work

Hi Alfaeddy and Darkman,

This is still a continuing problem for me too. I have tried the latest versions of FES and I think the problem is getting worse. I tried all the latency settings (Normal, slow. fast etc) and other settings, but when connecting to Bosch ABS V5.3, it always disconnects now when I tick parameters and start a graph. This function for me is simply unusable. I have done the latency check on the front page of FES and that is ok, but it doesn't work when I connect for real.

I know my laptop is old, but as I have posted before, when I borrowed a new very fast laptop it was not much better.

I agree with this;) always wrote that the weaker the laptop does not give advice on the real parameter read mode, and better laptop works without a problem. But what about new version of the FES is very good, even a laptop - new problems, disconnects, delays ... etc not always and not so often but there is
Especially as attaches to the car after the 3 pin adapter

Hello
After installing the new Update 3.3 I've noticed that it now
no disconnections anymore.
And yet even with another laptop and the free version 3.3
times tested.

I do not know why, but now there are no disconnections more
with the KKL interface.

What has changed? it with the KKL now no disconnections
longer exists.

Thank you :-) Yani

Yes, there is some improvement in Multiecuscan 3.3 regarding this problem ...
Let's see if other users will confirm it as well...
