Alfa 156 2.5V6

Post by devc » 12 Jan 2011, 15:06

Hi Yani,
In FES v 6.2.1 the The Me 7.3.1 Engine ECU for the Alfa 156 2.5 V6 has dissapeared.
Can you please put it back. I can use the GTA's Me 7.3.1, it gives a ISO code fault, but is usable.
Thanks,
Regards,
Dev

What do you mean?
It was there in previous versions and now disappeared?

Also, I think that 156 2.5 V6 has either Me 2.1 or Me 3.1.

Hi Yani,
I am 99% sure it was there in previous versions of FES.
The Alfa 156 2.5 V6 24V from late 02 onwards,(so called facelift) had the Bosch Motronic Me 7.3.1 engine ECU installed.
The ECU was mounted on the plennum chamber and the car had a display panel on top of the dashboard centre,
combined with the airvent. They also had cats installed on the exhaust manifolds & 4 Lambda sensors.

Hi,

I am reopening this topic because I can´t really wrap my head around it.

I have a 156 2004 facelift equipped exactly as described above. Especially, I know for sure that it has 4 lambda sensors and the ECU on the plenum. However, when I connect (or simulate) using the 3.1 ECU-template (as suggested by MES), one of the lambdas is not present. Although, for the 7.3.1 ECU-template, all 4 lambdas are there.

So, either there is a bug with the template for 3.1, with one lambda not mapped, or this model actually has the 7.3.1. Else, I am missing something... Can someone bring clarity to this?
