Bravo07 1.9 8V(16V)water in filter led -can't test-FES 2.6.1

Post by fiatbravoemotion » 31 Dec 2010, 21:51

Hi,
Today I tried to test water filter led on dashboard. Tried becouse a few days ago I replaced fuel filter in 1.9 8V Multijet after ~40.000 km/3 years. I had a trouble to start engine in lower temperatures and this led didn't light. This led is on when body is self testing after rotate a key and off after few seconds. I don't test gauge filling in water when I replaced the filter. I try test this led with FES 2.6.1. When I execute the test, FES say that is executing and after is Completed, but led doesn't light.

My friend tried to execute this test with Bravo 1.9 16V and the led didn't light.

Could You check why this functionality isn't available? The same test in my GP 1.3 16V Multijet is passing, the led is lightning and computer say "check diesel filter"

Thanks
Regards!!

This happens on the Fiat Croma EDC16 as well.

I thought I saw it illuminated once, but then never again.

Today I tried to test gauge fill in water. The led IS NOT lighting when gauge is in water !!. This function is not working in Fiat Bravo. My congratulations to FIAT. Led is only testing by computer and that's all.
