Re: Grande Punto T-Jet 2009 and ELM327 BT Interface
Yes, you will need an adaptor 3 cable. Adaptor 3 diverts both CAN lines from those used by the high-speed CAN systems (pins 6 & 14 on the port - engine etc), to those used by the low-speed CAN systems (pins 1 & 9). If you modify the interface cable you'll be sending all CAN commands to both CAN buse...

Re: Service Reset screen closes itself suddenly !
Why start a second thread when you've already asked this in the support section? Yani replied to your first thread: I saw the report. There is a problem with the CAN line or the interface. The interface says "RX ERROR" which means that it received corrupted data from the CAN line. If it works fine w...

Re: Calibrating electric steering (ESP)
Hi Juggers2k OBD and OBD-II. Yes basically agree with you. However EOBD does have an EOBD2 extension ('Enhanced On-Board Diagnostics, Second Generation'). That's a common misconception, as OBD-II is "On Board Diagnostics, Second Generation". The same doesn't apply to EOBD though, which was introduc...

Re: HELP - ELM327 for Lancia Ypsilon?
A 2007 Ypsilon won't be using the slow-CAN protocol, so any ELM327 interface should connect to it.
You need the licensed version of the software though.
It looks like the 2011-on models use the slow-CAN system.

Re: New to ECUS car is fiat 500 1.2
Run the scan function. This will report back what modules the software finds on the car. Those are the ones you can connect to. On a Fiat 500 you may need to do that once without any adaptors connected, to get the engine, ABS and electric steering controllers, then once again with the yellow adaptor...

Re: Calibrating electric steering (ESP)
<Pedant Mode> There's technically no such thing as EOBD II. There was OBD-II which standardised engine management diagnostics for cars sold within North America from 1996 onwards. The European equivalent is EOBD, which came in for cars sold within the EU from 2001 for petrol and 2004 for diesel (and...

Re: Fiat Ecu Scan 3.4.1 Bug
Why not try version 3.4.2?
It's a free upgrade.
It seems a little pointless reporting problems in versions of the software that have already been superceded.
