Shame you drilled a hole to the dpf, if you connect the differential sensor hose with a t-piece both to the first connection there should not be a need to drill a hole.

Sometimes ECU tuners "lock" the ECU so that other people don't steal their created software. I think that has happend. (In the netherlands A big volkswagen tuner does the same (jd engineering))
Can you read fault codes from this ECU?

Did you make sure the following conditions are right?:

- engine temperature >70 degrees celcius (90 degrees best)
- Vehicle stationary and handbrake on
- clutch and brake pedal released
- Engine idling (850rpm +/-50rpm)

It is not possible to reset the service counter on the newer models like Giulia Stelvio. Don't know if it will be possible in the future.

Maserati is not on the standard list, I think there isn't a good market for Maserati specific scanners, most people who own a Maserati don't do their own diagnostics/repairs.
Als small garages usually don't have a lot of Maserati's.
