The rezistor it is the on one in parallel with the OBD II pins 6 and 7
You need to check it with a multimeter becasue it is a littel bit dificult to get to it

Using this tool as it is you cannot connect in controllers on CAN BUS
You need to remove the well known rezistor

After you remove the components you have to make the circuit as in first Yani's post
Very easy explained.
Make that circuit and "voila" you have the tool working on CAN BUS
