Re: Electronuc security code

Well yes it is bad and I have ha a long discussion with Fiat UK a few years ago about this. They claim security etc. etc. I pointed out to them that their security points were, whilst well meant, totally wide of the mark for several reason, some listed below. 1) I applied via my Fiat dealer. I had t...

Re: Electronuc security code

Typical British / FIAT UK practice. Firstly, as far as I know the only MES functions that require a body computer code are 1) key programming and 2) alarm/security settings. A proxy alignment does not require a security code however after the alignment the alarm/security settings will be set to thei...

Re: MultiEcuScan won't work on my Panda

A Panda bought new in 2008 is most probably the Panda '03 as far as MES is concerned. Only way to confirm/deny this is by your chassis number. Unless you have the TRW Airbag 2 (Ep - PROXI) air bag computer which is a CAN Bus device you will need a KL connection/interface with KL3 adaptor cable. If M...

Re: Internal Error-graph from other PC-decimal separator iss

International language support, code pages, decimal "." vs "," separators are a real pain to code and test (I speak from limited experience :) )

Re: Alfa 147 selespeed with AutoDia E327

I think you will find the answers to your questions here: http://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx For the 147 Selespeed you will see that the Engine, ABS, Gearbox, Service reset and Airbag system can be connected to with the free version of MES. All other systems (list is red) require...

Re: Best equipment to reset Qubo Service Light

If you want guaranteed to work hardware for MES then look here: http://www.multiecuscan.net/Distributors.aspx

You can buy cheaper kit but as you have found out it may not work.

Re: Fiat 500X

I'm sure Yani will.

I gather Fiat were slow in providing the relevant information hence the delay in 500X support. The important engine dah and service are done. This is what Yani normally does (get basics up and running first) and no doubt additional systems will be added over time.

Re: Lifetime upgrade license question and some suggestions

Just back from hols so am a little late to reply. My understanding AND experience is that if you have an original FiatECUScan License (paid for and not free one) then this is a lifetime license. FES user's paid and helped develop/support FES before it came MES and the extension of FES Lifetime licen...

Re: Too many Lambda X Status parameters for AR 159 1.75TBI?

Might not be a bug.

It could be the ECU can support up to 4 sensors but only 2 are used in your specific car, but 4 could be used in another vehicle deployment.

Does MES display active/live data for all 4 sensors?

Re: Language Fiat Ducato

If your vehicle has a more modern large screen/graphic radio or Sat Nav then the settings on this will probably also have Vehicle Settings as well a radio etc.
