Yes that should work as 1) they are recommended distributer and 2) they claim MultiECUScan and AlfaOBD compatibility.
If you have problems then at least you have a reputable and contactable provider.

Re: Live parameters reading procedure
Nothing basically wrong with what you posted. As long as MultiECUScan is happy then you can basically rely upon captured data.

Re: Newbie info, proxi alignment
First look here: http://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx Scroll down to your particular Fiat Stilo Model. Specific interfaces and cables are indicated on the right hand side against each car ecu/module. Control units in RED require the Licensed version of the code. Modules in RED are ...

Re: vista problems
I have run both FiatECUCan and MultiECUSCan (MECUS) on the MS Win Vista and Win 7 platform with no problems.
As you say you have to use msconfig to successfully run MECUS then clearly there is another program interfering with MECUS.
Solving this could be easy or difficult..........

Re: Stilo service reset
I think this is probably a Support Vehicles documentation error. On the last *free* version of FiatECUScan (V1.6) this *may* have been supported (as was the Fiat Croma Oil Change Reset). MultiECUScan V1.0 introduced CAN support and the 1st non free function support which is generally all CAN based m...

Re: punto grande 1.3tjd
I've never seen the aerial coil on a Punto. It is either attached to the back of the cowling you took off or is located around the key barrel. Probably a moulded ring or other 'block' with wires attached. Sorry I can't be more specific. PLEASE NOTE! ALWAYS disconnect the car battery terminals and le...

Re: punto grande 1.3tjd
Yes this is an immobiliser issue. The Key Code Unit / ECU are not recognising your key. Common causes for this are: 1) Key security chip failure - have you tried another key 2) Aerial failure - there is a special pickup aerial cold around/behind the ignition key slot - these have been known to have ...

Re: CAN modules connection
I'm a Gendan ELM unit user with both their software and FiatECUScan and now MultiECUScan.
I have no issues on the cars I try to connect to.
Check your MultiECUScan install directory. You should find one or more log files that will hopefully shed a little light on you connection problems.

Re: DeActivate parking sensor
According to the Supported Vehicles list (http://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx) your Ducato is supported and the support INCLUDES Parking Control. I've looked at the Parking Control and the only Adjustment possible is "Enable/Disable the presence of tow hook on vehicle." Detailed i...
