Re: Proper execution of the "oil change" procedure
Well this is good news.
I don't recall any "delay" in updated data being available other than disconnecting / ignition off / ignition on / reconnecting.
I won't be able to test myself as I no longer have my Croma diesel engine and have reverted to petrol

Re: Proper execution of the "oil change" procedure
I need to correct my previous post. What I meant to say is that MES talks of "Oil Degradation" and then says 100% is 100% good and 0% degraded Yes I've done it several time. On the times I recorded any numbers I had: Before reset: oil degradation was 40% with 20,500km remaining Before reset: oil deg...

Re: Proper execution of the "oil change" procedure
On the Fiat Croma 1.9MJet the oil quality is actually measured/reported as a degradation which is very confusing!
So 100% degraded is actually new fresh oil
and 10% degraded would be 90% bad

Re: Exclusion EGR valve exchanger
MES can not do ECU mapping / code modification changes, e.g. to map out/turn of EGR.
Only exception to this would be with proxy aligned CANBus based modules, e.g. parking sensors, etc.

Re: MES crashing since v2.2
Install MES on the new laptop and make a note of the hardware key.
Write to MES support with details of your original license purchase, old hardware & registration code and the new hardware code/key.
Support should sent you back a new registration code for the new installation.

Re: does it or doesn't it?
May I suggest you try the free version of MES and do a scan to obtain all the reported vehicles nodes/modules and ISO codes.
Armed with the reported ISO identification codes then we may be in a better position to advise further.
