The oil change reset is done by connecting to the ENGINE ECU (not the service computer). Go to the Adjustments Tab and the second item there is "Oil Change".

Why installing those programs should change your hardware key I don't know.

Suggest you Email support with all your relevant information (purchase date, keys etc so they know you are genuine) and they should be able to sort you out.
