Re: Vag-Com interface

I would say it should work.

Download the free version of Multiecuscan and actually try it. You will soon find out if it is OK.

Re: Service Reset 159 1.9JTDm

Yes I think you have exhuasted the Service count. I don't believe it can be re-enabled. I deliberately did 9 service resets on my Croma (just before Multiecuscan was able to do it) so that I don't have to worry about it again. You will of course still get the Oil Change Warning and this will occur f...

Barchetta - 2005 - EOBD - Max RPM

Connecting to the ECU I was surprsed to find that a max rpm of OVER 12,000 rpm was registered for a duration of 3.9 seconds. I find this hard to believe. The 'B' may pretend to be an F1 car but I doubt that any Barchetta can tolerate >12K rpm for >3 seconds. Could we have a factor of two (6K ...

Re: multiecuscan for Linux

It may be possible to get Multiecuscan running under WINE or Crossover.

I've not looked at WINE for ages, and never Crossover, but I see that .NET on Linux or Mono is available.

Re: ELM327 v1.4

Can you clarify if we are talking CAN or KKL interface airbag connection, or both with the ELM 1.4 interface?

I think, but will check again when I get a chance, I connected perfectly OK to Croma CAN interface airbags.

Re: Stilo 1.9JTD 8V Service reset

I believe that from Version 2.3 onwards Service Resest for all then supported and to be supported cars became a "Registered" supported funnction. With this in mind I think the current web page regarding Stilo service reset is probably wrong. As far as I can recal prior to V2.3 the Stilo was the only...

Re: ELM327: where this pin 3 should be connected?

To read airbag ECU on Alfa 156 you need “VAG COM KKL 409.1” interface. Just go to “Board index ‹ Usage Q&A < VAG KKL cable connections” and you will find more details. Cheers! ;) I don't think this is correct. The ELM interface supports both the CAN the KKL interface. For non CAN airbag systems the...
