Re: Fiat New Croma - power steering

OK.

I have a Croma 05 so I'll check myself when I get a chance, probably not till Friday/this weekend.

I'll try with both VAG and Elm interfaces.

Also gives me an excuse to check my Gendan patch cables.

Re: Vehicle Configuration Reset Radio+CANCHECK

I hold my fingures crossed for Yani to successfully implement Proxy Alignment. I've not seen any detailed technical documentation on this but it will be either a real pig/bad job to implement or a breeze. My money is on "pig/bad job" and thus we will all have to be very patient a) on delivery of fun...

Re: alfa gta v6 - cam sensor?

Only if cam sensor info is passed on by engine ECU. I doubt it is.

You'll have to look at another way of spying on the sensor signal.

The unregistered version of Multiecuscan will NOT do a Service Reset. Registered version is required.

Re: FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)

Depending on the make, the version number of the circuit board may not be a good guide. I'm sure I have a version 1.2a PCB but with a genuide Elm V1.4 chip. To my knowledge there were NO electrical circuit changes required to support either and Elm V1.2 or V1.4 chip. This means that V1.2 PCB boards ...

Re: Injectors

More modern injectors have specific 'codes' that the manufacturer writes on the injects during manufacturing that effectively define the fuel delivery and calibration for that particular injector. The only way you can verify with Multiecuscan if the units you see are correct is to use the "read/disp...

Re: KKL Help!

It is NOT recommended to connect all the pins together.

Pin 7 to 1 and 9 is OK BUT not to 3 at the same time.

7 to 1 and 9 is OK (ECU & ABS & EPS & Body) is OK

7 to 3 (ECU & airbags) is ok

GENDAN creates FIAT ECUSCAN Hardware/Cable Set

Right guys and gals I know Yani does not like recommending or posting specific hardware recommendations so I will. Gendan a UK company have produced two rather neat kits for Multiecuscan users. 1) A complete pacakage of VAG KKL interface, Elm V1.4 interface and two additional patch cables. see here:...

Re: How to read ABS & Airbag

Read this link carefully http://multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx

It clearly describes the commmunications/cable requirements.
