Connection Protocol Choice
With an ELM interfce, as opposed to KKL what is Multiecuscan's connection method/choice? Do you connect on CAN if you can and then try KKL via ELM interface? The ELM chip supports multiple protocols and it would be nice to know how Multiecuscan navigates/chooses its connection protocol. This is of i...

Re: V2.3 Only Runs In Restricted / Demo Mode
Also, possibly related, why would I see a License Key of 730C7-06414-786E19? I'm not a licensed user, YET, so I find the presence of a key a little odd.
Should I manually flush the registry of Multiecuscan entries?

V2.3 Only Runs In Restricted / Demo Mode
Hi Yani I just installed V2.3 over 2.2.1 with ELM 1.4 interface (true ELM 1.4 just acquired and previously used V1.2a). When attempting to connect to Engine ECU or any other module it connects ok but I get the "This requires registered version" banner across the screen. I've ALSO tried to connect wi...

Re: fiat croma service reset and oil change reset
The free version will reset the Oil Degradation change but the Service Interval requires the paid for version and an ELM V1.3a cable.

Re: Elm 327 Bluetooth -V1.2a
I'm using a Gendan V1.2a interface and it appears to work on those functions/modules supported by the free version.
However Yani is probably the only person who can provide a definitive answer as he may be using software functions only supported by V1.3 for some modules.

Re: Registered vs Free Program Response
Yes, you are probably missing something. Another difference from v2.1 is that the FREE users can now see and connect to all available modules, but they will be able to see only the Info Screen for modules that are not free. Also, the FREE users can connect to any module in simulation mode using CTR...

Re: Registered vs Free Program Response
May I take a specific example. I'm told by another user that the Croma Oil Service Reset is no longer available in the free version. As I've recently done an oil service change and reset I do not want to invoke that function again. However the function is still listed as available/invokable. Were I ...

Registered vs Free Program Response
Hi Yani Am I missing something? How does the program inform the user which functions are, or are not available depending on the registration status. From what I can see the unregistered version lists/displays functions like Oil and Service reset functions, and in the cases of CAN bases functions (e....

Re: Alfa GT Service reset
Nine service resets on a Croma 2005 results in the Service Display Function being removed from the car's menu system.
To just display 0 would be very confusing/misleading.
Can't see why any of the Fiats/Alfas would behave differently ?
