Re: Writing Odometer on Alfa Romeo 156 JTD '02 with Dia K410

Odometer adjustments are done on the Dashboard or (less likely) Body Computer and NOT on the engine ECU. If when you have selected your correct Alfa model in MES you do not see Dashboard or Body Computer then you will not be able to update the odometer reading with MES. AlfaOBD may allow this but yo...

Re: Body Computer Node (BCM/NBC) FAILED! - Request out of range error

There may be a away to do this. Start/Stop even if enabled will not engage for a multitude of reasons in normal operation. One such reason is the vehicles view of battery charge, not based on voltage but based on current in/out. To do this there is a very low resistance sensor in the negative termin...

Re: Can't connect to anything other than Engine ECU (iPhone App + OBDLinkMX+)

Have you got the A3 YELLOW adapter?

See: https://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx

For the 500 models you need adapter A3 to connect to most of the vehicle systems, but not for the engine ECU.

Re: looking to purchase and have a few questions

I could do a full Proxy when I last tried some time ago. I have no recent experience of doing any Proxy work so can not offer any further info, especially with regards to OBDLink SX vs Scandiag.

Re: Can you help me which adapter I should use for my car? I bought the the scanner with yellow one as recommened

Firstly MES will not upset your car just by connecting. NOTE! See end of this reply regarding your Panda 2014. What follows immediately is MES General EOBD support you would get with any EOBD compliant scanner. This can be used on all cars I would suggest the following, is done WITHOUT and WITH the ...

Re: looking to purchase and have a few questions

I did read through it but was still slightly confused, thats why I posted the question. Thank you for clearing up that if I go with the CANtieCAR option then I won't need the other adapters. Im in the United States and it seems that the registered version seems good, yet the 2 companies in the stat...

Re: Reactivation Multiecuscan on a new computer

Contact MES support directly.

Provide purchase date/proof, original key, old hardware key if you have it and the new hardware key.

Yani is not ignoring you. He focuses on MES development so infrequently visits the forum and thus does not see PMs for some time.

Re: looking to purchase and have a few questions

If you look here: https://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx Then search for Guilia you will see that for your car you only need and ELM/OBDLink interface and two additional adapters, A5 and A6. With CANtieCAR then these two A5 and A6 connectors will/should not be required. Suggest you ...

Re: Fiat 500 Celsius to Fahrenheit?

Are you sure you can not change this with the vehicle menus? On the 500X you can. Check your handbook and vehicle settings menus. Note! Some settings may be on the Head Unit menus and not on the dashboard menus.
