Re: Add a "used" key to Renegade

I would be very cautious with this. A little explanation is required. For some older Fiats then MES can program keys but YOU NEED YOUR KEY CODE CARD which has the vehicle security code. In the UK this was never supplied to customers and the code had to be requested via your Fiat dealer (at cost). Fr...

Re: Fiat Stilo 1.9 JTD Bosch EDC15C7 (no Injector values readable)

Not saying that tis is your problem but I seem to recall from the distant past that this has occurred before and the solution was to true a TRUE KKL only interface.

While ELM and other interfaces can emulate/run in KKL equivalent mode for some ECUs a real KKL interface is required.

Re: semaphore timeout on bravo 13 elm 1.3 r1 no 120 res

A few points to note: To my knowledge the last version of FiatECUScan was V3.6 (on 26 May 2012) and not V3.6.2. Where did you get the software from? FiatECUScan is no longer supported and went out of service on 26 May 2013 . May I suggest you download the current free version of MultiECUScan V4.0 an...

Re: ELM327-USB V3.0

The information you require is on this page:

Find your vehicle(s) and see which adapters (if any) are required.

The MES software will also tell which adapter (if any) is required when you select the unit/module you wish to connect to.

Re: Reference parameters

Look here:

Search for Lancia Musa 1.3

Here you will see what is required. An ELM or OBDLink with adapter A1 seems to be all that is required PLUS the basic MES software license.

Re: VAG KKL cable connections

The Alfa Mito ECU's/Nodes are all CAN Bus units. The KKL diagnostic cable you have will not work.

You need and ELM or OBDLink diagnostic cable.

Re: Fiat 500: Disable 2nd stage of driver airbag

MES in the parameters tab will show you the 1st stage and 2nd stage air bag resistance for driver and passenger. MES (for safety reasons) will not allow you to adjust/disable or modify airbag system parameters. I don't think even the official Fiat dealer level diagnostics permit the changing of airb...

Re: Plate light error disabling?

No MES can not clear this.

You need LED bulbs that are compatible with the vehicles "bulb failure detection system". The are almost always *INCORRECTLY* referred to a CAN compatible LEDs.
