Is it possible to update the firmware and tomtom maps on a unconnect 7 after retrofit? mines on 8.10.2.

I have a used 7 inch Uconnect, what's the procedure to retrofit it in place of my 5inch Uconnect please? I have been searching for ages but there's seams to be no info on how to do it.
