Sorted it. Local garage used a SnapOn diagnostic tablet and ran the oil change procedure. All OK afterwards. Bit disappointed that MES seems to have a bug in the oil change procedure especially as that’s main thing I bought if for:-(

No fault codes. The oil light should be flashing along with the text if an oil change is required. So I can’t understand why I’m getting the change engine oil text display without the flashing oil can.
