If you have a vag/kll obd connector and the 3 pin adapter, you have to disconnect the L line in the 3 pin adapter. Otherwise you will get a connect time out / failure message from the multiecuscan program. so get an adapter or make a switch yo disconnect the L Line. The L line how would Iknow witch...

Hi there thanks for that just installed the software and drivers cable and adapters on there way . One thing I need to know is the procedure for connecting to the car take it is ignition off connect laptop via cable and adapter , turn ignition on connet to ecu and scan for faults thanks in advance
