ELM 1.5 is not working, you should buy an ELM 1.3.

At the ELM Cables you don't have to connect Pins. This is only necessary at KKL Cables.

I have now my third ELM interface and with all of them I get in the TEST Function a Timeout error.
I cannot believe, that all interfaces are faulty...

Can someone post the exact settings of his functionable configuration?

As you know, I have exactly the same problem.

Which ELM interface is recommended? If I search in the net, I get a lot of Chinese products.. but I still have 2 and don't want to spend more money to Chinese stuff.
Can you recommend a payable one?

May I modify the Interface somehow by connecting pins or something else?

Hi All,

now i can connect with my 1.3 ELM327 cable to the ECU. I can test the warning lights and all other things, but if I try to connect to the Service Reset module, I get error messages and cannot establish a connection...

Any ideas?

Yes, I have tried other SW too without success. Also I have received a CD with the driver.

I have changed the Settings like written in many posts here and tried all Baud Rates. Sometimes I get an Errormessage "Connection to ELM failed" Sometimes "Timeout Error".

PS. Which 1.3 Cable do you advise?
