Re: ECU Comunication Failed | ELM327 USB 1.5

You probably have a fake elm, or you did not switch the ignition on.

To which module and what car did you try to connect?

For more help, you need to post more details of your interface and the whole Test results.

Re: punto 1.2 8v petrol - ecu adaptiv reset

Do you have the logs folder setup correctly? If so, try posting some logs about the reset.

Re: punto 1.2 8v petrol - ecu adaptiv reset

Did you experience any misbehaviour before you did the self adaptation and phonic wheel reset? Try doing the resets again. Are you using registered version of Multiecuscan? Try contacting yani, he may ask you to send the report after the resets (the big red send report button in the main menu near t...

Re: failed connection can bus

Probably your interface is a fake elm. Resistor-related faults show the interface compatible, but can't connect to anything else than the engine ECU. You can test your interface with an ELM compatibility tester software, that will show you which versions - if any - does your interface support. https...

Re: Failed to connect to Body Computer

Usually if you can connect to the engine but not other modules, than your ELM has bad termination resistor on CAN line. After removing (and even better: adding proper termination), it should work. Only if you have FTDI USB IC in it and PIC microcontroller. Cheap fake chinese clones are totally usele...

Re: Can't connect via Bluetooth ELM327

Try connrcting to the module you found, the engine. Then switch to the faults tab to read the fault. Or just scan DTC. But that's not really important, the ELM you have is 99% faulty, but can be "repaired". You have to open the case and remove the 120 ohm resistor. To be sure before opening, measure...

Re: Same ECU listed multiple times in supported vehicles, free AND registered only, difference?

Not exactly the same ECUs. The two free versions are also different, mainly in their ISO numbers.

The one that only the registrated version can handle is type 59F, while the other two can be other types also.
The differences are in EURO2/3/4 regulations, and related stuff.
