I would check the main ground wire between battery, chassis and engine.

This 5 minutes of disconnection of battery should do something like 'restart' of ECU as I understood.

I had the same problem and this was because of misfires. One ignition coil was bad. Does work all four cylinders on your car?

My opinion is, that both O2 sensors are ok. Both shows values between 0,05-0,8V and this is ok. RPM changing on idle is probably due the mess in throttle valve (very common problem). Dont worry, this cable is detected as ELM 327 v1.3 and works fine, I personaly tried it, even service interval reset,
as you can see:
