Use the GTA Me7.3.1 ecu. Most functions will work on the 2.5 V6.

Just try all of the different airbag ecu's till you get connected. In my case none of the listed airbag ecu's work. Some '98 156 use even older ecu's wich are not supported (yet).

The ME 2.1 is the same as the ME 7.3.1 but without the two Lambda sensors in the exhaust branches (Bank1 & Bank2) All the other sensors & Actuators are the same. Pre 03 156 2.5V6 (ME 2.1) & post 03 156 2.5V6(ME7.3.1) The same diagnostic can be used. Does that effectively mean I could pick any of th...
