My point exacly. Use a multimeter to find the correct one. Put it on "beeper" to find the loop, it's fairly simple.ambok wrote:should not just cut "3rd wire from left" or so. There are different cables out there.

Or just cut out the DIL switch size in the plug, so it fits in there. I didn't even use superglue. It sits nice and tight.

You should not just cut "3rd wire from left" or so. There are different cables out there. Use a multimeter to find the correct line to cut.

Re: Service interval reset stilo 1.6 2005
This is not a problem. It is how the service interval works. It has 9 service tickets, and after 9 service resets it simply stops working. It is working exactly the same way on most Fiat, Alfa, Lancia models. Yani Which means that if I reset my Stilo 3 times more (with FES) I will make it go away f...

Re: Parking sensor / Fiat Stilo.
Thanks. I had a feeling I should have brought that cable aswell - especially as he didn't tell me about the service interval that needed resetting. Will bring that cable with me next time.
Again... this is a great piece of software.

Parking sensor / Fiat Stilo.
Hello. I have had 100% success with this program since the early versions on several cars, like Fiat Stilo and Alfa 156. This weekend I hooked up to my friends fully loaded 2002 1.6 Stilo. He's got parking sensors and some gadgets I don't have. Anyway there was a fault at the parking sensors, which ...

Re: Siemens 99 airbag failure.
You cannot delete the error because the problem which causes the error is not fixed. It says the the indicated sensor has short circuit. You need to check the cable connections to that sensor first. Yani Problem solved. Connectors were ok, but the sensor itself was fried. After the sensor was chang...

Re: How to identify the ECU?
If you don't get the "INCORRECT ISO CODE.." message then you have selected the correct ECU. Well, I didn't so I chose correctly then. :) So it doesn't do any harm chosing the wrong one. It just doesn't connect at all? I made a 4 pin dip switch and turned 3 of the switches to "on" position except th...

How to identify the ECU?
How do I identify my ECU before connecting. I tried to connect to the ECU (somthing like "Bosch ASR") since I've got ASR in my Stilo. All kind of warnings (lights and messages and ding-ding-dings) came up on the dash, even ESP failure - which I don't have... :D Is it OK to test any ECU connection wi...

But how to I fix the "serial port latency too high"? Latency is set at the lowest.
