Licence transfer to a new laptop
Hi, In 2012 I bought the license and installed Multiecuscan on a PackardBell laptop. After 10 years it died. My original license is from the early days and could be transferred to a new PC after cancelling the key on the old one. Unfortunately, I can't as my old PC is totally dead. I contact sales a...

If they can't pay 50 bucks for such a useful software, they don't deserve help.

Re: Error line CAN Multiecuscan
Actually, I think that this is probably a problem with the SCAN function. Multiecuscan tries to scan the CAN network of the vehicle for known control modules. However, Fiat Sedici (and Suzuki SX4) do not have the same CAN network as the rest of Fiat family - it is using different speed. So, when Mu...

Re: Error line CAN Multiecuscan
I am repeating a message I posted in Q and A as I didn't see this thread. Note I don't consider this issue as a Multiecuscan bug but a chinese ELM327 clone bug ! ECU accessed: Bosch EDC16C39 CAN bus SX4 aka Fiat Sedici Using FES, a USB chinese ELM327 clone with the CAN input modified as per yani ins...

Bosch EDC16C39 CAN bus SX4 aka Fiat Sedici
Using FES, a USB chinese ELM327 clone with the CAN input modified as per yani instructions (see other thread), when I scan for device (F11) I get error U 1601 CAN bus. I connect directly the ELM to the OBD plug, no special cable. As I understand, FES communicates via the K line to the EDC, a point t...

Installed 3.41 on top of 3.3 (no uninstall) registered, WIN 7 32b. All seems OK so far.

Re: ELM327 Problem
The only real ELM327 from ScanTool.net will give you the real firmawre version as they are theirs ! The chinese clones (and there are quite a few it seems), shows any thing from 1.2 to 1.5 (mine says 1.5) These are irrelevant. It works or it doesn't. For the CAN, modify the interface as described so...
