Re: Forum registration disabled?

Having run a few forums in my time I know how annoying spambots can be. Disabling registration altogether seems quite an extreme step though. We've always referred our MES customers to the forums as a first point of contact for information and help, but there seems to be little point in doing so now...

Forum registration disabled?

Apologies if this has already been asked (I tried a forum search first!), but is there a reason why forum account registration is currently disabled?

Re: Multiecuscan 1.5 released

For anyone looking for an adaptor 4 cable for the pin 13 coverage - Gendan received their first batch into stock today.
They should be live on the website and ebay this week.
See the MES distributors list for details :)

Re: Simulate Mode for ECUs requiring 3 pin adaptor

For simulation mode to work, the interface type required by a module (e.g. ELM327 or KKL) has to be configured in the software (even if it's not actually plugged in). It sounds like you were connecting to a module which requires the KKL for connection, but maybe only had the ELM configured? I guess ...

Re: Errors do not clear

Clearing the fault codes won't fix the faults. The faults you have there are short to ground, short to positive, open circuit, control unit faulty - they all point to wiring faults on the car, or possibly a catastrophically failed airbag controller which is shorting out all the other components. Alt...

Re: CANtieCAR interface

I checked with Yani about the possibility of upgrading to a multiplexed cable on behalf of a customer recently. The lifetime updates received by early adopters of the basic package are not transferrable to the Multiplexed package. All MULTIPLEXED licenses are with 1 year updates and there is no exce...

CTRL+F10 is simulation mode, so it's not actually connecting to the car.
It just shows you made-up data so you can see what options the software would expect to see on a given control module.

Re: HELP DOBLO FIAT ISO CODE

Run a scan first to see what controller the car reports as having.
Then make sure you're selecting the correct type of Doblo (the type code is the first 3 numbers in the VIN), the correct model, and the matching control module to what the scan said.

Re: Name change

I would imagine it's due to "FIAT" being a trademark.
If so, Yani probably isn't at liberty to talk about the change much.
